Representative West was honored to be a @ascendjustice Champion of Justice for the work we did together to bring forth a Statewide Domestic Violence Review Team to the state of Illinois! He was able to accept the award virtually this evening. Taking a proactive approach to combatting domestic violence not only benefits our communities across the state, but it tells survivors that the state of Illinois is working on their behalf. Representative West Thanks Sara Block and the whole DVFRT Working Group for the work we did for over a year! He is truly honored.
