Town Hall with Citizen Action was a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from community. Nearly 40 engaged residents came together—not just to listen, but to lean in, share, and seek solutions for some of the most pressing healthcare challenges we face.
Small Group Conversations That Mattered
The evening began with small group discussions where participants had the chance to connect more personally. These conversations were filled with honesty, lived experiences, and a shared determination to ensure healthcare remains accessible and equitable for all.
A Panel with Purpose
The program continued with a dynamic panel that tackled the current state of healthcare, focusing on the impact of federal cuts to Medicaid and ACA programs. Panelists shed light on what these changes mean for everyday families, seniors, and vulnerable populations—and how we can respond with both advocacy and action.
Solutions, Not Just Problems
What stood out was the solutions-focused nature of the discussion. Instead of getting stuck on what’s broken, the conversation centered on how we, as a community, can step in, speak up, and create pathways for better healthcare access.
The Power of Community
The night closed on a hopeful note: a reminder that when we come together, we don’t just talk about change—we make change. Every voice mattered, every idea was valued, and every person left knowing they are part of something bigger.
