Rockford, IL — Compassion and community spirit were on full display this week as State Representative Maurice West’s office wrapped up its Baby Bank Donation Drive with an outpouring of support from local residents and organizations.
In total, more than 3,200 diapers, along with dozens of packs of baby wipes, soaps, and other essential care items, were donated — all destined to help local families ensure their little ones are cared for with dignity and love.
“This is what community looks like,” said State Representative Maurice West (67th District). “Every diaper, every bottle of baby soap, every small act of giving adds up to something powerful. Because of your generosity, families across our community will have what they need during some of life’s most tender moments.”
The Baby Bank initiative continues to provide essential support to families in need, ensuring that parents don’t have to choose between basic necessities and other critical expenses. The success of this drive underscores the heart and compassion that define the Rockford community.
Representative West extended his heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed, emphasizing that “your impact is bigger than you know.”
